Apple iPad with ARM Cortex-A9 processor coming?
Apple iPad is already selling like hot cakes. In fact it is filling Apple’s bank account so quickly that Apple is planning to upgrade it as early as next year. Word on internet has it the new iPad would be based on ARM Cortex-A9-based processor and will feature 512MB RAM.
Other features would remain quite the same.
Digitimes further reported that Apple will also launch a 7-inch iPad using the Cortex-A9 processor and an IPS panel with a resolution of 1024×768.
Expect Apple to go official on these two in the first quarter of 2011.
