Amazon Kindle Fire 7″ Tablet Launched $199

On Monday we told you that Amazon will launch its Kindle tablet this Wednesday. And guess what that news were bang on mark as yesterday Amazon took the wraps off it’s first true tablet computer — the Amazon Kindle Fire. This one’s a 7-inch tablet with a color touchscreen display. Still, it is nothing like Apple’s iPad. So we won’t see a war between Apple and Amazon, and Amazon’s tablet will have to find a place of its own.
The tablet is powered by a dual-core processor and offers a 7-inch IPS display (1024×600 pixels). It uses a customized Android operating system.
Other features include 8GB internal storage, WiFi, microUSB, and 3.5mm audio jack. The tablet also offer free cloud storage for all Amazon content.
It’s battery is rated at 8hours for reading and 7.5hours for video playback.
You can place your order now for only $199. Delivery is expected to be on November 15.
