Alienware M15x and M17x laptops with NVIDIA 8800GTX leaked
Looks like Alienware is planning to unveil two new gaming laptop with some real raw power. The M15x (15-inch) and M17x (17-inch) laptops are expected to ship with NVIDIA 8800GTX graphics card and other desktop replacement like features. NotebookReview found the specs sheet on Alienware’s website and published their story, but since then the page is offline. The Area-51 m15x starts at $1,399 with 1.8Ghz Core 2 Duo T7100, 1GB of memory, 80GB 7200RPM hard drive, dual layer DVD burner, and Nvidia 8600m graphics card. The powerseekers will be able to customize it to their liking. On the upper end machine supports faster Core 2 Duo and Nvidia 8800 GTX with 512MB of memory.
The 17-inch Area-51 m17x is a desktop replacement which can be customized with 2.8GHz Core 2 Extreme processor, dual NVIDIA 8800GTX graphics in SLI, Blu-Ray drive, and 200GB 7200RPM hard drive. And price? Only $6,000.
