Alienware has launched a laptop that doesn't go with their tradition of introducing most powerful PCs. The Area-51 m5790 features a modest 256MB ATI Mobility Radeon X1900 graphic card, the SLI NVIDIA graphics are out this time. But rest of the features are quite good. It's the first Alienware laptop that gives option of an overclocked Core 2 Duo processor. It boosts 2.33Ghz / 2.66Ghz Intel Core 2 Duo processor, 2GB RAM, 400GB HDD, and a 17-inch 1920×1200 WUXGA Clearview display. It ships with Windows XP later this week, but is Windows Vista capable so you can upgrade it after 30 January.
