Acturion Datasys, a German "specialized" industrial and military mobile computing device vendor has unveiled a rugged ultra mobile PC for use in harsh environmental conditions. According to the firm, the 8.4-inch Victum tablet 8 is resistant against drop, shock, vibration, high and low temperature, rain, and dust and sand. It comes in light alloy metal housing with 1.2GHz Pentium M low voltage processor, up to 1.25GB RAM, max 160GB hard drive, 800x600 resolution, a/b/g wireless, Bluetooth, built-in speakers, microphone, fingerprint reader, seven hours of battery life, and Windows XP Tablet PC Edition 2005.
