Acer reduces orders of 11.6-inch Aspire One AO751h on disappointing sales

In times when 10-inch netbooks are selling like hot cakes, Acer took a gamble of launching an 11.6″ netbook. But looks like the gamble is yet to pay off because if Taiwanese industry insiders are to be believed then the sale of Acer’s Aspire One A0751h ain’t picking up. In fact, Acer is so disappointed with its sale that it has has reduced orders of Aspire One A0751h netbooks to Taiwanese Quanta Computer.
The main reason why 11.6incher netbook ain’t getting picked up by consumers is its pricing. The 10incher is way more cost effective compared to its large screen counterpart.
But things can sure turn the other way if prices of 11.6inch netbooks continue to decline as lower the price higher the chances of consumers picking them.
