Acer Launches TravelMate 8210

Acer has introduces a notebook for home users and SMBs. It is particularly targeted for SOHO (small office-home office) professionals. This laptop provides connectivity plus solid audio and video functionality to support professional work, as well as entertainment. TravelMate 8210 is powered by an Intel Core 2 Duo processor and it doubles the second level cache memory from 2 to 4MB, which provides maximum productivity to the professional users and speeds up every operation. The notebook is integrated with “eDataSecurity Management”, a software, which provides superior security and protection of crucial data by creating a folder that automatically encrypts confidential files, while “eRecovery management” allows secure back-up of Hard Disk, OS and personal files.

It has storage capacity of 160GB and the RAM can be upgradeable up to 4GB, which provides more than enough room to save and manage crucial file archives.
The Acer TravelMate 8210 notebook is Windows Vista(TM) Capable and comes with Microsoft Windows XP Professional Edition preinstalled. Additional installed software includes Acer Empowering Technology, Adobe Reader, Norton AntiVirus, CyberLink Power Producer, NTI CD-Maker.
