Acer Ferrari One 11.6" Netbook

acer_ferrari-one-netbook.jpg Technology enthusiasts will surely remember that Acer has a tie-up with Ferrari. In the past Acer has released many Ferrari branded notebook computers, but it is the first time it is bringing Ferrari brand to a netbook. The Acer Ferrari One netbook is an 11.6" internet-surfing device with latest AMD Congo platform.

Instead of using traditional Atom chip, the newest Acer netbook will be powered by AMD's Athlon X2 L310 processor (1.2GHz, 1MB of L2 cache).

It is based upon AMD's M780G chipset and incorporates the ATI Radeon HD 3200 graphics chipset.

Other features include 802.11n wireless, Bluetooth, HSDPA, 1,366 x 768 screen resolution, Dolby Home Theatre solution, and 6-cell battery.

The Acer Ferrari One is priced at $728 and will be available from late October.
