Acer Ferrari 1200 laptop announced

acer_ferrari-laptop.jpg Acer today silently announced a new series of Ferrari-branded notebook computers. The latest Ferrari 1200 series laptop is designed for premium users whose hormones starts racing the moment they see a Ferrari. The 12.1-inch Ferrari 1200 is successor to Acer's Ferrari 1100 ultraportable, and is based on AMD Turion platform. In general, the specification is decent enough for doing office work on road. Thanks to its Turion X2 processor, 4GB RAM, and ATI graphics you can do loads of multi-tasking on the go. Design-wise the machine retains its F1 themed carbon fiber body. What's more, it features unique ventilation design that echoes the exhaust pipes of F1 cars and anodized-metal touchpad which resembles the brake and acceleration pedals of a Ferrari car.

Specification:

  • AMD Turion X2 processor
  • M780G chipset
  • up to 4GB RAM
  • 12.1-inch widescreen LED backlit display
  • SATA hard drive
  • DVD Burner
  • Wireless, Bluetooth
  • Dolby Home Theater sound technology
  • Bluetooth wireless mouse, optional Xpress VoIP phone
  • Fingerprint reader
  • Windows Vista operating system

No word on pricing.
