
The latest biggie to join the foray of "mini-notebook" makers is none other than the world's third biggest computer maker. The Aspire One is based on Intel's latest Atom N270 (1.6 GHz) processor and features Linux operating system. It features 512MB RAM, 8GB SSD, 802.11b/g wireless, 5-in-1 cardreader, SD slot, 3x USB ports, and webcam. According to
Notebook Review, Acer is also planning to launch a high-end version with 80gig hard drive, 1GB memory and Windows XP for about $620.
