Word on internet has it Acer is currently working on a new desktop replacement laptop featuring powerful specification. The Acer Aspire 8942 will be based upon Intel's latest generation Core i7 processor. Other flagship feature include the ATI Radeon HD 5850 DirectX 11 capable graphics card, providing incredible gaming experience.

Other features include 18.4-inch full HD 1080p widescreen display, 8GB of RAM, 2x 640GB hard drives, Blu-ray drive, Wireless, Bluetooth, 5.1 channel audio, and Windows 7.

No word on pricing.

The Acer Aspire 8942 will be most probably unveiled in January.
