Acer Aspire 7720G, 2920 and Ferrari 1100 Notebooks Announced

Today Acer updated its Aspire and Ferrari (pictured below) series with three new notebooks for professionals looking for powerful mobile solution. Both the Aspire machines boast sexy Gemstone design theme. The Aspire 7720G is an update to 7720 with desktop replacement like features while the 2920 is an ultraportable for students / business users. Based on famed Santa Rosa platform, the 17-inch 7720G ($2,998) could be a boon for road gamers due to ATI Mobility Radeon HD2300 graphics card with up to 1GB of HyperMemory. The multimedia laptop is equipped with 2.2GHz Core 2 Duo T7500 processor, up to 4GB RAM, dual layer DVD burner, digital TV Tuner, 1440 x 900 resolution, 200GB hard drive, 5-in-1 card reader, a/b/g wireless, Bluetooth, Dolby-certified surround sound system with two built-in stereo speakers and one subwoofer, and Vista.

The 12.1-inch Aspire 2920 is also based on Santa Rosa with Core 2 Duo processor, Intel GMA X310 graphics, 250GB hard drive, 1280 x 800 resolution, a/b/g/n wireless, and same other above mentioned features.

Acer has taken their partnership with Ferrari further by announcing a new Ferrari branded laptop, the 12.1-inch 1100. According to TrustedReviews, the 1100 sports a new design "that's laden with lots carbon fibre, red highlights and the famous Prancing Horse logo of the Maranello based company." Its an AMD machine with 2.3GHz Turion 64 X2 TL-66 processor, ATI Radeon X1250 integrated 3D graphics card with up to 960 MB of HyperMemory, white LED backlighting, and same other specs as Aspire 2920.
