Acer Aspire 5920 and 4710 laptops now available in US
Today Acer officially released it’s Gemstone 5920 and 4710 notebooks in the US. Both of them are based on Intel Santa Rosa platform. The 5920 is a media centric laptop with all the latest features such as HD DVD, Dolby Home Theater Virtual Surround Sound and Nvidia GeForce 8600M GT graphics, while the 4710 is designed for budget consumers who need a value-for-money product. The 15.4-inch 5920 includes 2.0GHz Core 2 Duo T7300 processor, 2GB RAM, 200GB hard drive, 1280 x 800 resolution, 802.11a/g/n wireless, Bluetooth, webcam, and Vista.
The 14.1-inch 4710 comes with Core 2 Duo chip, 512MB RAM, 120GB HDD, a dual layer DVD burner, webcam, and Vista. The 5920 and 4710 are now available with a starting price of $2000 and $600 respectively.
