The stylish 15.4-inch Acer laptop is designed by BMW Group design team for regular home users. Actually it's a new addition to the good looking Gemstone line up of media laptops. The Aspire 5520 is not as powerful as 5920 or 9920 Gemstone lappies but is good enough for day-to-day tasks. Powered by AMD Turion 64 X2 TL-52/56/60/64/66 processor, it features Nvidia 8400M G (128MB VRAM) or 7000M graphics card, up to 4GB RAM, max 250GB hard drive, dual layer DVD burner, webcam, 802.11b/g wireless, Bluetooth, and Vista. It's priced at about $1000.
