    • acer lenovo logo Acer, Lenovo tablets based on Intel and Windows coming in Q3 2012Though everyone is chasing ARM+Android combination there is a segment called enterprise segment which needs Intel+Windows combination to run enterprise grade applications. To cater to this segment, Acer and Lenovo are working on new tablets based on Intel Clover Trail platform and Microsoft Windows 8 operating system.

    Though ARM+Android tablets are more efficient in terms of power and performance, Intel+Windows tablets will be good for business people who need to run “familiar” applications on tablets.

    Expect Acer and Lenovo tablets with Wintel platform in third quarter of 2012.
