But to take advantage of Windows 8, Acer has updated Aspire V5 with a touchscreen model. Dubbed as Acer Aspire V5 Touch, it is pretty similar to standard Aspire V5 except for a 10-point multi-touch display and Windows 8 operating system.

    Specification include 14″ or 15.6″ touchscreen display, third generation Intel Core family processor, NVIDIA GeForce GT 600M graphics card, 8GB DDR3 memory, 500GB hard drive, and DVD burner.

    It also provide Dolby Advanced Audio v2, two built-in speakers, HDMI, card reader, 1.3MP HD webcam, WiFi, Bluetooth 4.0+ HS, a USB 3.0 port, and up to five hours of battery life.

    Acer Aspire V5 Touch will be available from October starting at $775.
