NVIDIA Ion-based PCs coming in 2Q or 3Q
Though NVIDIA Ion platform is pretty powerful, it’s having difficult time convincing PC vendors. Also, the chip giant Intel is giving tough time to NVIDIA using its monopoly muscles. But it seems NVIDIA has finally convinced vendors about the viability of its Ion platform. Reportedly, couple of PC vendors has already adopted the Ion chipset and will be launching products based on NVIDIA’s platform by late second-quarter or early third-quarter of this year. According to Digitimes, Apple might be the one to employ the Ion.
