NVIDIA ION 2 coming in Q1 2010
Remember we’d told you about the upcoming NVIDIA ION 2 chipset? Well, we now have an official word that such a project is indeed under development. But the sad part about this news is that the next generation ION won’t be ready for CES 2010.
Basically, NVIDIA’s partners might showcase their machines based on ION 2 but we won’t hear anything from NVIDIA regarding this until Q1 2010.
No word on technical specification either, but the chipset is expected to feature up to 40 shaders.
