NVIDIA Ion 2 chipset coming in 2009
As we know NVIDIA ION chipset is pretty powerful. And thanks to its in built GeForce 9400 GPU, it handles graphics in a better way compared to Intel chipsets. But thanks to Intel’s monopoly and strong arm-tactics NVIDIA has yet to get a foothold for Ion chipset. But if NVIDIA’s chipset boss is to be believed then the firm is all set to go official with its ION 2 chipset by end of this year.
The newest generation Ion platform supports Intel Pentium 4 compatible processors such as Atom, VIA Nano and some ultra low voltage chips.
No word on other details such as pricing.
