AMD to come out with RS880 chipset bundled with Radeon HD 4200 graphics
If reports are to be believed then NVIDIA Ion will soon have a competitor in the form of AMD RS880. The newest product from the house of Advanced Micro Devices is a chipset integrated with ATI Radeon HD 4200 graphics core. According to reports, the combined performance would be 15% more than any other comparable graphics solution currently available in market. No word on pricing but you can expect AMD’s new DX10.1 chipset by end of August.
