Samsung Electronics is soon going to start manufacturing of new 24-inch LCD panels with an LED backlight that'll enable monitor to deliver high color quality. This panel is targeted towards photographers, and graphic professionals. It provides industry-high color saturation level of 111% (of NTSC standard), 180 degrees viewing angle, contrast ratio of more than 1,000:1, and 1,920x1,200 resolution.

Now the firm believes 22-inch panels is not good enough to completely enjoy Vista because it's not wide enough to support full-HD. In addition, industry experts now say that 24 inches provides a better Windows Vista fit to also include the Vista right side bar and margins. As for panels, Samsung will start production in Q2.
