Samsung SyncMaster 2693HM and 2493HM released
Samsung has chosen Macworld 2008 event to launch two new widescreen LCD displays in their SyncMaster line up. The 25.5-inch SyncMaster 2693HM and the 24-inch SyncMaster 2493HM are high-end monitors with full 1080p HD resolution, HDMI inputs, and built-in multimedia speakers. Both of them also sports a four-way adjustable stand, providing for height, swivel, tilt and pivot capabilities.
With a dynamic contrast ratio of 10,000:1, the 2493HM monitor sets the standard for superior, true-to-life image quality. Furthermore, both monitors feature a 5ms response time, 400 cd/m2 brightness and a high resolution of 1920 x 1200. The 2493HM and 2693HM are now available for $599 and $699 respectively.
