Samsung 940UX Monitor Now Available in the US
Finally people in the States will be able to purchase Samsung’s first USB connected LCD monitor. As reported earlier, the 19-inch 940UX allows multiple screens to connect via USB, rather than VGA, without the need for a graphics card or any special video hardware using proprietary UbiSync technology. Due to its plug and play functionality it becomes much easier to use. The USB connection really means you can hook up to six monitors using USB cable.
As for specifications, you get 1280×1024 resolution, 300cd/m2 brightness, 5ms response time, 1000:1 contrast ratio (2000:1 dynamic), and 160/160 degrees viewing angle. The 940UX is now available for $379.
