    Just as we told you about Samsung HDTV monitor, word on internet has it Samsung will also launch a WQHD monitor with 2560 x 1440 resolution! Reportedly, Samsung Series 9 S27A970 is designed for professionals and will be unveiled during CES.

    Samsung Series 9 S27A970 sports an anti-glare edge-to-edge glass display, an aluminum stand and base.

    Specification include 300cd/m2 brightness, 1,000:1 contrast ratio, 5ms response time, and 178/178 degree viewing angles.

    It also provide dual 7W speakers, a 2-port USB 2.0 hub, DVI, HDMI and DisplayPort.

    Also included is Mobile High Definition Link (MHL) which lets you connect the monitor with MHL-supporting smartphones and tablets.

    Samsung Series 9 S27A970 monitor will be available from March for $1,200.
