NEC MultiSync LCD3090WQXi 30-inch monitor announced
The professional display market today got another major player, the NECMultiSync LCD3090WQXi. The monster LCD display delivers “innovative display performance for users in the graphic design, photography, print production, and CAD/CAM industries.” It is designed for professionals who are looking for highest quality display and doesn’t mind paying premium price for it. The LCD3090WQXi features ColorComp, which reduces LCD uniformity errors, and compensates for differences in color/grayscale and luminance, and advanced backlight technology, which enables the display to produce 102 percent of the NTSC color scale for unsurpassed color gradation.
It provides 2560 x 1600 resolution, HDCP, 102 percent color gamut vs. NTSC, and 97.8 percent coverage of the Adobe RGB color space. The MultiSync will be available from February for $2,199.99.
