NEC announces 22.5-inch LCD module supporting full high-definition
NEC today introduced a new 22.5-inch WUXGA LCD module boasting “excellent picture quality”. According to the firm, its an ideal panel for use in broadcast stations and post-production studios, thanks to full high-definition (1920 x 1080) resolution, high luminance of 460 candelas per square meter (cd/m2), 176 degrees viewing angle, a wide color gamut of 97% (NTSC ratio) and a double frame rate of 120 Hertz to improve motion picture performance.
“The introduction of the new 22.5-inch high-definition LCD is further evidence of NEC LCD Technologies’ longstanding dedication to providing advanced display solutions that meet the sophisticated requirements for high-end monitor applications such as high-performance motion picture monitors,” said Hidetoshi Usui, department manager in charge of product planning and marketing, NEC LCD Technologies, Ltd.“
In addition to the new 22.5-inch LCD module, NEC also offers a new 19-inch LCD module with SXGA resolution.
