Logitec has introduced two new monitors in the Japanese market which will start shipping later this month. The 19-inch LCM-TP1902A/S (pictured above) features 1280×1024 resolution (very less), 700:1 contrast ratio, 300 cd/m2 brightness, 6ms response time, 160 degrees visibility angle, dual speakers (1W each) and analog D-Sub×1. The 17-inch LCM-TF1701AD/S provides 1280×1024 resolution, 300 cd/m2 brightness, 700:1 contrast ratio, 170 degrees visibility angle, dual speakers (1W each), D-Sub×1, and DVI×1. It also provides visibility control function which can reduce the angle of visibility to maintain the privacy. Both the model includes peek prevention function and protective filter (2mm thick) of the hardening glass. The 17" display is priced at $418 and the 19" display at $527.
