LG Electronics recently unveiled the world's most energy efficient monitor that saves approx 45% power. The 22-inch W2252TE is the latest addition in LG's Flatron series consuming only 22W, meaning your net power saving will be approximately 40W. Its a good product to buy if your machine is turned on 24x7, as its good to reduce environmental impact as well as some green bills.

And as far as specifications are concerned, you get a good deal. The W2252TE provides 1,680 x 1,050 maximum resolution, 10,000:1 contrast ratio, 250cd/m2 brightness, 2ms response time, and 170-degree viewing angle.

No word on pricing. It'll be available from August in the United Kingdom.
