LG L53 Series - Ultra High Contrast Monitors

LG Electronics has introduced three new ultra high contrast and low response monitors for the price conscious consumers. But the problem with these LCD displays is they offers very low resolution, so it's a very good option only for home users who are not into high def games. All the monitors includes LG's exclusive ‘f-ENGINE’ technology - the world’s first LCD picture-enhancing chip that offers users clearer, crisper and brighter images. LG’s ‘F-ENGINE’ automatically analyzes the input image, and adjusts contrast ratio and color for perfect picture quality. The 17-inch L1753S features 1280 x 1024 resolution, 2000:1 contrast ratio, and 5ms response time. The model in question will run you for about $195.
The L1953S (19-inch panel) comes with the same specs as that of 17-inch display and is priced at $227. The 19-inch L1953TR features a resolution of 1280 x 1024, 2000:1 contrast ratio, and 2ms response time. It will cost you $260.
“LG shows its aim to be the global leader in digital display with this new L53 series that has one of the markets highest contrast ratio of 2000:1 and an ultra low response time of 2-5ms,” said Howard Lee, Managing Director for LG Electronics Singapore. “LG will continue to develop innovative products with cutting-edge technology to secure leadership in technology and new standards.”
