• LG DX2500 25″ glasses-free 3D monitor launched

  • LG has rolled out a new monitor in the Korean market. What is interesting about the 25-inch DX2500 is that it is a glasses-free 3D monitor, meaning you need not wear those ugly 3D glasses to enjoy the beauty of 3D technology.

3D without glasses has been possible because of parallax barrier 3D and head-tracking technologies. The LG DX2500 has an in-built webcam which tracks user’s eye and head position in real-time and calculates the angle and position of viewer, and display images according.

The monitor also features a 2D to 3D conversion software, which helps convert 2D content into 3D with a single click.

The LG DX2500 is priced at $1,150.
