People who runs multiple monitors knows for sure how much power LCD display consumes. Now to save your power bills Eizo has launched a new large screen LCD display that reportedly features couple of interesting technology to reduce it's environmental effects. The 24.1-inch EV2411W-HGY is latest addition in Eizo's FlexScan line up sporting "EcoView" concept. No word on how much power you can save by purchasing this display, but according to Eizo, thanks to white LED backlighting, and ambient brightness adjustment power consumption will go down.

It offers 1920 × 1200 resolution, 1000:1 contrast ratio, 300cd/m2 brightness, 5ms response time, and 178/178 degrees viewing angle.

The Eizo FlexScan EV2411W-HGY will be available in October for approx $790 in the Japanese market.
