Buffalo Japan today came out with their very own external display powered by USB technology. The FTD-W71 is a 7incher external display and can be used as a secondary monitor to display additional spreadsheets, webpages, pictures etc. The idea of having a secondary display ain't new. Earlier we have seen quite a few smaller external displays, but due to their irrational pricing they don't become affordable. Sometimes you might find that a regular size monitor is cheaper than the smaller one! No word on pricing of this display but it is known that it sports 800x600 resolution. If this one retails for less than $150 then it might be worth to buy it. The Buffalo FTD-W71 external display will be available in the Japanese market by month end.
