Asus announces three IPS monitors
Asus has silently launched three IPS monitors under VS family in the European market — the VS209H (20″), VS229H (21.5″) and VS239 (23″). All of them offer LED-backlit IPS-grade panel and feature nice specification including wide 178/178 degree viewing angles.
The VS209H has 1600*900 pixels resolution, while the VS229H and VS239H have 1920*1080 pixels resolution.
Common features include 250cd/m2 brightness, 14ms response time, 50M:1 dynamic contrast ratio, and D-Sub input. The VS229H and VS239H also have DVI and HDMI.
The Asus VS229H is priced at $195, while the VS239H cost $220. No word on pricing of VS209H.
