    Acer has unveiled new line-up of monitors that includes 17-inch (x171s), 19-inch (x191sd), 19-inch (x191Wsd), 22-inch (x221Wsd), and 24-inch (x241Wsd). The Vista certified widescreen monitors offers pretty good configuration like high resolution, contrast ratio etc. The first three i.e. one 17″ and two 19″ are value-for-money products designed for budget conscious consumers. Let’s start with the high-end 24-inch “x241Wsd” ($600), it sports 1,920×1,200 resolution, 1000:1 contrast ratio, 400 cd/m2 brightness, 5ms response time, and 160/160 degrees viewing angle. The 22-inch “x221Wsd” ($280) provides 1,680×1,050 resolution, 300 cd/m2 brightness, 5ms response time, 800:1 contrast ratio, and same above mentioned viewing angle. The 19-inch “x191Wsd” ($190) features 1,440×900 resolution, and same other config as that of 22-incher.


    The other 19-inch “x191sd” ($200) includes 1,280×1,024 resolution, 300 cd/m2 brightness, 700:1 contrast ratio, 8ms response time, and 150/135 viewing angle. And finally, the 17-inch “x171s” ($180) features 1,280×1,024 resolution, 140/130 viewing angle, and same other specs as that of x191sd. All the displays are now available at retailers and Acer-authorized resellers throughout North America..
