Acer unveils 21.5", 24" full HD widescreen LCD displays

acer_H223HQbmid.jpg Acer Japan recently came out with two new widescreen monitors, both sporting full HD resolution!!! The 21.5-inch "H223HQbmid" (pictured above) and the 24-inch "H243Hbmid" are nicely specced and well designed monitors for Japanese prosumers. Basically, both offers full HD LCD panel (1920 × 1080 pixels resolution), and 16:9 aspect ratio. Major difference between them lies in the contrast ratio -- the H243Hbmid offers 40,000:1 contrast, while its younger sibling H223HQbmid sports lesser 20,000:1 contrast ratio. Both adopts ACM (Adaptive Contrast Management) technology, and features 5ms response time, 72% NTSC, 300cd/m2 brightness, 160/170 degrees viewing angle, built-in stereo speakers, and HDMI. The 21.5-inch ($312) and 24-inch ($416) displays are now available in the Japanese market.
