3DIS unveils 1040S 3D Monitor in Korea

3dis.JPG3DIS has announced a new 3D monitor in the Korean market that lets you enjoy 3D content without wearing those ugly glasses. The 10.4-inch display supports wide viewing angle, so that multiple users can enjoy the content simultaneously and features a simple switch that can bring you back to normal viewing mode.

It makes use of Advanced LayerTechnology to provide clear bright image. The firm has also developed it's own player '3DIS Stereoscopic Player' for stable 3D video playback.

After accomplishing this feat, company has now decided to work on a new project -- to make the thickness of the monitor slimmer by 2mm so that it could be used for laptop computers. American geeks can have the pleasure of playing with it for couple of minutes when it is displayed at CES 2008 in Las Vegas.
