BenQ has announced five new monitors under BenQ GW series — the BenQ GW2250M (22″), BenQ GW2250HM (22″), BenQ GW2450M (24″), BenQ GW2450HM (24″), and BenQ GW2750HM (27″). All of them feature VA + LED backlit panel and boast of ultra wide viewing angles of 178/178 degrees and high native contrast ratio of 5,000:1.
AOC has introduced a new monitor in the Japanese market — the AOC E2357FH. This one’s a 23-inch monitor with a neat and elegant design and an ultra-slim bezel measuring only 5.8mm.
Eizo has released a teaser mentioning it’ll launch a smart monitor in Japan in June. There’s absolutely no information on Eizo Smart Monitor except for the fact that it’ll be launched on June 14, 2012.
HP has introduced two new Compaq branded monitors — the HP Compaq L2206tm and HP Compaq LA2405x. The first one is a multi-touch monitor while the second one is a standard LED-backlit monitor. Designed for high-traffic, customer-facing areas and users who benefit from multi-touch capabilities, the new HP Compaq L2206tm 21.5-inch diagonal LED backlit monitor features optical touch performance with three sensors for on-the-spot touch recognition. The display supports finger input or passive stylus input for improved precision in drawing and handwriting applications, plus height, tilt and pivot adjustments.
Newly launched Acer G6 series monitors come in various size including 27″, 24″, 23″, 22″, 20″ and 19″. The Acer G6 series flaunts a unique design with smooth and rounded surfaces and glossy X-shaped base.
Acer has rolled out new Acer G225HQLA series monitors in the Japanese market. There are two models under this series — the Acer G225HQLAbmid and Acer G225HQLAbd. Featuring a 21.5-inch panel, the monitors provide full HD resolution of 1920×1080, 100,000,000:1 dynamic contrast ratio, 250cd/m2 brightness, 5ms response time and 160/170 degree viewing angles.
AOC has recently introduced two new LED monitors in America. Launched under AOC 50 Series, the monitors are dubbed as e2250Swdn (22″) and e2450Swd (24″). AOC reports that these monitors are ideal for office use and use 50 percent less energy than CCFL displays.
Looking for a 3D monitor? Acer has a new option in the form of Acer HN274HBbmiiid. This one’s a 27-inch 3D monitor with NVIDIA 3D LightBoost technology and built-in IR receiver. The display comes bundled with a pair of NVIDIA 3D Vision 2 glasses and provides 1920×1080 resolution.
Asus has come up with a new monitor in the form of Asus VG23AH 3D. The monitor sports a 23″ 3D, IPS grade panel and built-in dual 3W stereo speakers. Features include 80,000,000:1 ASUS Smart Contrast Ratio, and ASUS-exclusive Splendid Video Intelligence Technology, delivering a colorful visual experience in Full HD 1080p.
Work on computers for long hours? Philips has launched a new monitor for this segment. Dubbed as Philips Moda 248X3LFHSB, the 23.6-inch monitor is equipped with an exclusive LightFrame technology that emits a soft-blue light which helps reduce eye strain and improve concentration.
