Microsoft Explorer, Explorer Mini mice with innovative BlueTrack Technology

microsoft_explorer.jpg Remember couple of weeks ago I told you about a new Microsoft mouse sporting some unknown BlueTrack technology? Well, MS Hardware recently came out with two new mice powered by proprietary BlueTrack technology that lets you work on more surfaces than before. Microsoft's exclusive technology combines the width and power of optical technology with the precision of laser tracking to allow consumers to mouse on virtually any surface — from a granite kitchen countertop to the living room carpet. According to MS, the BlueTrack Technology light beam emanating from the bottom of the mouse is more than four times as large as the average laser beam used in today’s mice, enabling reliable mouse tracking even on difficult surfaces such as carpet.

The Explorer and Explorer Mini mice are wireless mice with 2.4GHz wireless technology. Both are ergonomically designed mice sporting customizable buttons so that you can quickly access the media, programs, and files you use most often.

The Explorer mouse is now available from BestBuy for $80, while the Explorer Mini for laptops is now up for $60.
