• ASUS Eee Keyboard with Intel Atom up on FCC site

    The Asus Eee Keyboard is now listed on FCC website, meaning it’ll soon the light of the day. After much-hype building and leaked previews the keyboard will soon go on shelves.


    As we’ve mentioned earlier, the keyboard is an extremely unique machine.
    It runs an Intel Atom N270 (1.6GHz) processor under its hood and sports netbook-like specification.
    Apart from Atom, it provides 945GSE/ICH7-M chipset, a 5″ touchscreen display (800 x 480), 1GB DDR2 RAM, 16GB or 32GB flash storage, a Broadcom AV-VD905 video decoder, and a 4-hour battery pack.
    As for connectivity, you get Gigabit Ethernet, 802.11b/g/n wireless, Bluetooth, 802.11 b/g/n WiFi, HDMI and VGA.
    Also, as an added bonus it provides an integrated stereo speakers and headphone and mic jacks, three USB 2.0 ports and an external WiFi/UWB antenna that lets users enjoy 720p content on a TV within a 5-meter range.
    It’ll be based on Windows XP (or may be Windows 7), and will be officially launched soon.
