Microsoft eyeing AOL?

aol-microsoft.jpg Looks like Microsoft is really hungry for a well established online player. As its talks with Yahoo for a merger between the two entity is going nowhere, it is planning to tie up with another big B of online world -- AOL -- to create MicroOL. Reportedly, MS has started talks with AOL executives for a merger between AOL and Microsoft's online division. Though AOL is one of the hottest property on internet, it doesn't make much sense for MS because the software behemoth won't be getting search expertise. Also, Yahoo has huge internet market share, so buying Yahoo certainly makes sense for MS. But AOL? I doubt. Its better to have another round of talks with Yahoo.
