NVIDIA declares the CPU dead

Is CPU really dead? According to NVIDIA it is. In a dramatic way, NVIDIA’s VP of Content Development Relations Roy Taylor send out an email to The Inquirer mentioning a war between the world’s largest processor maker and the world’s largest graphics processor maker, which will affect “everyone who owns a PC”. And with both — Intel and NVIDIA — entering into each other’s traditional den, we can’t agree more with this piece of news.
According to Taylor, the cold war (which started some time ago) will be written in history in bold letters and will be the talk of the geek world for years to come. As per his logic, the processor can’t get faster than what they are today, and as most of the stuff like gaming, videos are powered by graphics processor in a computer system, we can do away with traditional CPUs. In simple language, “Intel is dead”.
