Recently, Transcend not only introduced an external drive StoreJet 25F but also a portable eSATA / USB SSD combo. Dubbed SSD18M, the drive combines the speed and durability advantages solid-state technology with the versatility of eSATA and USB connection interfaces. The drive offers a maximum read speed of 90MB/s and write speeds of 50MB/s, while its USB2.0 interface assures maximum compatibility with all types of notebook and desktop PCs. The SSD18M is now available in 32GB, 64GB and 128GB capacities.
