The Korean giant recently came out with a giant hard drive for media geeks for whom no capacity is enough. The Story Station is a large capacity external hard drive that meets the requirements of multimedia lovers as well as business pros who require an extreme capacity drive to store their valuable data. According to Sammy, the 3.5-inch 1.5TB external hard drive features enhanced security software and a solid aluminum casing, and is ideal for data backup of personal, hard-to-replace data, music, photos and video files.

To protect against data loss and security compromises, the new Samsung STORY Station features three important safety features: Samsung Auto Backup, SecretZone and SafetyKey. Samsung Auto Backup backs up data in real time or through a prearranged schedule. The backed-up data can also be securely saved by setting a password with Samsung’s SafetyKey. And to protect confidential files and folders, Samsung’s SecretZone creates a virtual drive which provides encryption for data security.

The Samsung STORY Station comes in 500GB, 1TB, and 1.5TB storage capacity and will be available by month end.
