Iomega Prestige Series external hard drives
Iomega recently unveiled their new external hard disk drive series -- the Prestige series. The stylish drive sports sturdy aluminum construction, and provides a simple and affordable solution for all your storage needs. The Prestige USB 2.0 desktop version is also high on specification with fast 7200 RPM rotational speed, 8MB or higher cache buffer, and up to 1TB storage capacity. The Prestige desktop is now available for $208.95 (1TB), and $109.20 (500GB).
On the other hand the Iomega Prestige Portable is a pocket-sized USB powered portable drive. The best thing about this drive is that it requires no external power supply—just plug it in an go. The Prestige Portable provides Drop Shock feature, which makes this drive rugged and flexible enough to safely store large amounts of data in tough travel environments. It also includes EMC Retrospect HD software (via download) to protect all your files.
The Prestige Portable is available in three versions: 160GB ($85.45), 250GB ($102.55), 320GB ($128.20).
