Boy, this is amazing. The Bootplug P2 comes from the house of CramWorks (a Japanese company) boasting built-in Linux 2.4 kernel operating system. In under 10 seconds this baby is ready to push the limits; it loads Kernel, drivers, LAN, PPP, VPN, X Window System, Firefox, Notepad, OpenOffice, PDF viewer and a remote desktop client. Also, Real Player 10 and Flash Player 9 are available for download from the company's website.

The drive supports AES encryption and provides a special read-only mode that prevents accidental writes by guest users. Also, an automatic back-up feature is provided so that you can backup your data.

The 2GB drive is now available in the Japanese market for about $120.
