Western Digital ships 320GB notebook hard drive
Western Digital today announced the availability of it’s Scorpio 320GB 2.5-inch SATA hard drives for notebook computers and portable storage devices. It’s a thin drive (9.5mm form-factor) with some exclusive technologies which makes it “extraordinarily quiet while running at cool operating temperatures.”
The Scorpio provides 3Gb/s transfer rate, 5400rpm speed, and 8MB buffer. It’s now available online through WD’s site for $200.
