    Western Digital today launched two new hard drives under My Passport family — the My Passport Studio and My Passport for Mac. Both of them are designed for use with Mac computers and Apple Time Machine software.


    My Passport Studio (pictured above) boasts sports an all-metal design and offers up to 1TB storage capacity. It also provides multiple connectivity options with two FireWire 800 ports and a USB 2.0 interface.Furthermore, it features encryption and password protection software.
    On the other hand the My Passport for Mac (pictured below) is a slim drive for people who want to carry loads of data on the go (up to 1TB). It has a USB 2.0 interface.
    My Passport Studio is available in 500GB ($130), 750GB ($160) and 1TB ($180) storage capacities. Even My Passport for Mac comes in 500GB ($100), 750GB ($120) and 1TB ($130) capacities.
