• Transcend’s ExpressCard/34 solid state disk with 16GB

    Transcend Inc. has unveiled a new ExpressCard/34 SSD series with up to 16GB storage capacity. Designed for notebook users with ExpressCard slot, the low power device supports USB 2.0 and PCI Express applications. It includes Vista ReadyBoost function and a built-in ECC (Error Correction Code) functionality and wear-leveling algorithm that ensures highly reliable data transfer.


    It comes bundled with a portable USB adapter. No word on pricing and availability.
