Transcend intros 2.5″ 64GB SSD
Transcend recently introduced a new solid state disk based on 2.5-inch form factor. The new notebook form-factor 2.5” SATA-II and IDE interface SSDs are both equipped with a tough but lightweight case, generous capacity (up to 64GB), high reliability, very low power consumption and incredible resistance to shock and vibration. According to Transcend, these features make them ideal drop-in replacements for conventional hard disk drives in both industrial and portable devices like ultra compact notebooks that require long battery life and must be durable enough to withstand a few bumps and scratches.
