Toshiba’s portable external hard drive
After being in hard drive market for some time, Toshiba has jumped into portable drive segment with the launch of it’s new drive boosting 200GB capacity. It provides 2.5-inch drive, 8MB buffer, and a black case that looks good. Nothing much flashy about this device except a patent-pending shock mounting technology to protect data, and a “scratch-resistant” body.
Supporting Windows / Mac based computers, the Toshiba USB 2.0 Portable External Hard Drive will be available in 100GB ($130), 120GB ($150), 160GB ($180), and 200GB ($230) capacity later this week.
